Step 1 - Old pine staircase with mahogany railing

Bill paints the stairs white and begins the process which will eventually end up in faux-painted mahogany treads that will match the mahogany handrail.

Many, many coats of polyurethane are applied, so that this finish will last for a lifetime!

Bill built this entryway, and later designed and painted this harlequin floor.
