The fireplace works. Time to build the shed dormer.
In New England, famous for boat building, it is said that a man who can build a boat can build anything! Doug builds boats... He’s a handy guy to have around!

Indoor plumbing, finally! This non-functioning toilet was in the Cabot Lodge home. The owners had it replaced, and gave this broken one to Bill. He fixed it, and put in in the cabin. Where’s Bill? OMG, he fell in! …and whose boots is he wearing?

The log cabin is built using the trees felled on Bill’s land. This batch will be the new back bedroom.
New back bedroom. Old windows, given to Bill by the owners of the Stoughton house in Cambridge, were in the Gallery. They are being added to a new back bedroom in the cabin.
The staircase to the second floor was salvaged from an 18th Century home.
